Ronnie Bowers Memorial Scholarship

Ronnie Bowers was a kind-hearted, gentle spirited, caring teen who wanted to become a father, husband, and a paramedic/firefighter. He enjoyed helping people, was loved by everyone who knew him, and was a positive role model for children. He also had an affection for animals, especially dogs. Ronnie was known for being sweet, brave, funny, and charismatic, with a kind soul. He was very compassionate about doing his part in serving for humanity. Ronnie loved spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and playing football and video games with his brother. He also had a flair for good music. Ronnie’s loving energy would put a smile on the faces of many.

In his 16 years, Ronnie will be remembered for being a hero, not only to his family and friends, but to the several lives he saved and for donating organs so that others may live. Ronnie’s delicate soul will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

This scholarship was started by his mother and brother as a way to remember Ronnie and to help Fairmont graduates be motivated in furthering their future through higher education. Ronnie’s legacy will be remembered for generations to come.
