Wahid Abdullah Memorial Scholarship - do not use

The WAHID ABDULLAH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP, founded by Jim Bucher, was established at The Dayton Foundation in 1997 to honor the memory of Wahid Abdullah, a 17-year-old academic scholar at Colonel White High School, whose life was abruptly ended by violence at the hands of another teen.

Montgomery County graduating high school seniors who are planning to major in communications and/or journalism and who have a minimum 3.0 gpa may apply.
