Dayton Public Schools - Dunbar High School - Carson/Byars Scholarship
The DORA A. CARSON/KEITH A. BYARS SCHOLARSHIP FUND was established to assist Dayton public high school scholar athletes who exemplify academic, school and community involvement and spiritual growth. Students graduating from any Dayton Public high school who have participated in a varsity sport may apply.

- Please submit a list of all sports in which you have participated. The list should include years of participation and any accomplishments, honors or awards received while on the team. Please keep the outline organized using bullet points and a clear format.
- Please provide a name and e-mail address for a Pastor or other spiritual leader reference. Please do not use the same person who is providing your general scholarship application reference. NOTE: As the applicant, it is your responsibility to inform that person to watch for an email sent on your behalf that will explain how to complete this process.
