Oakwood Schools Foundation - Loran and Alberta Warner Scholarship for Community Service

The Loran and Alberta Warner Scholarship for Community Service was created in 2004 by Julie Warner Klaper (Class of 1968) and Rebecca Warner Rogers (Class of 1962), in memory of their parents, who, by their example, instilled in their children a desire to learn, to have a broad range of experiences, and to give back to the communities in which they live. The scholarship assists Oakwood High School graduating seniors who exemplify scholarship and community service to attend an accredited college or university. Students need to demonstrate financial need and community service that took place in Montgomery County.
