Dayton Superior College Scholarship Program
The Dayton Superior Corporation College Scholarship Program is designed to help the children of employees of Dayton Superior and all of its operating companies who are in pursuit of an undergraduate degree and who are academically qualified. Dayton Superior will award six scholarships annually in the amount of $3,000 each for undergraduate study at any accredited two- or four-year college or university chartered in the U.S. or Canada in a program of study leading to a baccalaureate degree.
The applicant must be a child of a person who is or has been employed by Dayton Superior or one of its divisions. Child is defined as a natural or adopted child or a dependent stepchild or ward of a Dayton Superior Corporation employee. The parent on whom the application is based must be:
1. A current employee with at least one year service on the date the application is due, or
2. A person who died while a Dayton Superior employee with at least one year service, or
3. A retiree, living or deceased, with at least one year service, or
4. A person with at least one year service receiving benefits under the Long Term Disability Plan.
Students who will enter college for the first time in the fall, as well as students currently in their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college may apply.
