Kettering Education Foundation - Cheryl Abraham Memorial Scholarship
Cheryl Abraham was a School Counselor at Fairmont High School from 2002-2014. She loved high school students and dedicated her life to helping them navigate their way, however divergent the path, to choices that would positively shape their futures. She offered students her mindful-presence and total acceptance. Cheryl worked hard to create opportunities for students to succeed and was a tireless advocate for students whose life path was not straight or clear. This memorial scholarship in her name will be awarded annually to a student who has overcome personal, environmental, or other challenges and needs a helping hand to pursue his or her college goal. Applicants must be graduating seniors from Kettering Fairmont High School who are planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university.
