PFLAG Dayton LGBTQ and Ally Scholarship

PFLAG Dayton envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. PFLAG is a national organization with more than 400 chapters and their mission is to support, educate and advocate for families, allies and people who are LGBTQ+. The PFLAG Dayton LGBTQ+ and Ally Scholarship was established with the Dayton Foundation in 2021 to offer scholarships to assist outstanding students in the Miami Valley pursue their education at an accredited college or vocational institution. The LGBT Center of Dayton (daytonlgbtcenter.org) generously supports one of the scholarships offered. The LGBT Center’s mission is to enhance lives and empower members of the diverse sexual and gender communities throughout the Miami Valley. This scholarship is designed to celebrate the achievement of the individuals who represent PFLAG and the LGBT Center values.
