Valley View Schools - Dean and Jeanine Stiver Community Kindness Scholarship

Dean and Jeanine Stiver were not only pillars of their church and local community, but they spent their lives working for the Germantown school system. Their kindness, love and generosity knew no bounds and they could be counted on by all who knew them. If you grew up as a Stiver in Germantown, everyone knew your grandparents, Dean and Jeanine. This scholarship will hopefully honor their legacy while also helping the next generation who will be putting their kindness, love and compassion to work among all the beautiful communities they impact! Applicants must:

• Be a graduating senior from Valley View High School
• Be accepted to an accredited two-year, four-year, technical school or college or university
• Have successful experience being employed or volunteering/community services
• Financial need will be considered if all else is equal
• Preference will be given to a student who identifies as LGBTQ+ or be an ally
