Dayton Public Schools Distinguished Female and Male of Color Scholarship

The Dayton Public Schools Distinguished Female and Male of Color scholarship was established in 2022. The application will be rated on appearance, verifiability of information, clarity, and evidence of achievements. Applicants must:

  • Be a graduating senior from a Dayton Public High School
  • Be an active participant in the Female/Male of Color Dayton Program
  • Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 based upon a 4.0 scale
  • Be accepted to a two-year, four-year, technical school or college or university

  1. Are you an active participant in the Female/Male of Color Dayton Program?
  2. Please provide the name and email address of two more recent letter of recommendations from a teacher, coach, guidance counselor, principal or employer. One of your letters MUST be from a teacher who has taught you.
