Nancy and Neal Reichelt Scholarship

Nancy and Neal Reichelt, siblings, established this fund to support the continuing education of students in Dayton public schools. Both were graduates of Belmont High School and Miami University and enjoyed long teaching careers in the Miami Valley. Nancy taught fashion merchandising and design at the Warren County Career Center. Neal taught biology at Kiser and Belmont and enjoyed coaching, especially basketball. They very much enjoyed sharing in their students’ successes. They wish to leave a legacy of opportunity for Dayton students to advance their studies through this fund. Applicants must:

• Be a graduating senior from Dayton Public Schools; preference will be given to students graduating from Belmont High School
• Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.2 based upon a 4.0 scale
• Be accepted to a two-year or four-year technical school or college or university
• Have successful experience being employed or volunteering/community services
• Demonstrate financial need
