Miamisburg Schools Education Foundation - Miamisburg High School Visual Arts Scholarship
Miamisburg High School Visual Arts Scholarship was established in 2014 by the K-12 Art staff of Miamisburg City Schools to honor and financially support graduating seniors of Miamisburg High School. Applicants must have demonstrated strong skills and creativity in visual arts. Applicants must plan to pursue a career in the visual arts as they continue their post-secondary education. Students must:
• Be a graduating senior from Miamisburg High School who has attended MHS for a minimum of three years
• Must have taken Art I, II, III, and IV at MHS or the equivalent if the student did not attend MHS freshman year
• Minimum 3.5 GPA for all art classes
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Must intend to major in the Visual Arts

- Is your cumulative GPA for all of the art classes you have taken a 3.5 or higher?
- Do you plan to major in or pursue a career in the visual arts?
- Have you taken Art I-IV at Miamisburg High School (or the equivalent if you did not attend MHS as a freshman)?
- Please describe or list how you participate in art activities on a daily/weekly basis. These activities can be inside and outside of the school.
- Please upload a paragraph describing your future career and study intentions.
- A minimum of 10 examples of artwork must be submitted to the committee in a digital portfolio using Google Slides. Individual photos of each piece should be placed on a Google Slide presentation and must include: date created, media, and size for every photographed work. Please email this to the art department chair and/or ask your art teacher if you need assistance. Please check the box below to signify that you understand you must submit artwork to the head of the art department.
