PALS Foundation Heritage Scholarship
The Promoters of Art – Literature – Science (PALS) established this scholarship to help students pursue their studies in art, literature, or science. The award can be applied toward tuition at an accredited two- or four- year college, university or technical school. Applicants must:
- Be a graduating high school senior from a school in the Miami Valley
- Be an American of African descent accepted to a two- or four-year technical school, college or university (Preference will be given to students planning to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU))
- Plan to major in an area of study that closely relates to art, literature or science
- Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 based upon a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrate community service, volunteering, leadership, and overcoming obstacles
- Demonstrate creativity and/or artistic ability strength and skills
- Demonstrate financial need
