Oakwood Schools Foundation - Kevin Lauterbach Scholarship for the Arts
The Kevin Lauterbach Scholarship was established in 2000 by his mother Patty Whisler to honor the memory of this Oakwood High School Class of 1986 graduate whose life was spent enjoying and pursuing his affection of the arts. The scholarship assists Oakwood High School graduating seniors who plan to be a life-learner/practitioner in the field of fine art.
Applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior from Oakwood High School
- Plan to pursue a four-year degree
- Exhibit personal habits an character that are mindful and considerate of all others
- Have exceptionally strong talent in art
- Demonstrate significant achievement in the field of fine art
- Be a significant contributor to the curricular activities in the art classroom and have contributed in significant ways to related art activities outside the art classroom
- Embody the qualities of a life-learner/practitioner in the field of fine art
