Oakwood Schools Foundation – Janet Bourne Memorial Scholarship
The Janet Bourne Memorial Scholarship was established in 2018, by family and friends, to ensure the life of Janet Bourne will continue to be celebrated each year as this scholarship is awarded. Janet lived a life of service through her love and selfless dedication to the Oakwood Schools, the community and her family. This scholarship will continue that legacy as it touches the lives of many OHS graduates. Applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior from Oakwood High School who has attended for at least two years
- Be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university as a full-time student
- Has positively impacted the community through dedication to community service or demonstrating an admirable work ethic
- Financial need will be considered if all else is equal
