Valley View School - Athletic Booster Scholarship
This $1,000.00 award is presented to one outstanding senior female and one outstanding senior male student/athlete that best demonstrates the achievements of outstanding leadership, character and attitude in the school, community and on their respective playing field. By being chosen to receive this scholarship, it not only helps with the monetary expenses that come with further education, but also recognizes the student/athlete’s individual dedication and leadership to the community and school, along with their successful participation in Valley View School athletics during their high school career. Applicants must:
• Graduating senior from Valley View High School
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Minimum of two varsity letters: at least one must be earned during senior year
• Consistently demonstrate leadership, character and attitude in the community, school and on the field
• Student-athletes that receive an Athletic scholarship to either a DI or DII university/college are not permitted to apply

- In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must have earned two varsity letters. In which sports did you earn those letters? In what year did you earn each letter?
- Have you earned an athletic scholarship at a DI or DII college or univeristy?
- Please request a letter of recommendation from one of your varsity head coaches. No letter of recommendation should come from a relative of the applicant (unless the relative is the Varsity Head Coach). Each letter should address the applicant’s leadership, character and attitude.
- Please request a letter of recommendation from a community member who will address your leadership, character and attitude.
- Please submit an essay of no more than 250 words describing how you demonstrate leadership, character, and attitude in the community.
