Paul David Bach Music Scholarship
Paul David Bach was a singer/songwriter who spent his life sharing his songs, and his love for making music, with many loyal and appreciative fans in the Dayton area. His songs were often relatively simple in structure, but were, to many, profound lyrically and emotionally. Paul David took special pleasure in nurturing young musicians, in sharing with them his love of creating music, and in encouraging them to find their own musical voices. It is fitting, then, that this scholarship, designed to facilitate a young person’s music education pursuits, is offered in his memory. Applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior from Northmont, Tippecanoe, Troy or Butler High School
- Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 based upon a 4.0 scale
- Be accepted to a two or four-year college or university
- Plan to major in a music related field
