Oakwood Schools Foundation - Thomas R. Neff Memorial Scholarship
The family and friends of Thomas Neff established this scholarship in 2012 in memory of this Oakwood High School graduate. The scholarship is being offered to a graduating, male senior of Oakwood High School to further his studies at an accredited technical school, junior college, community college or four-year college or university. Thomas exemplified a strong work ethic, solid values and morals while maintaining good grades through his hard work and dedication. Students must be:
• A graduating, male senior from Oakwood High School
• Accepted to an accredited technical school, junior college, community college or four-year college or university
• Have a 2.6 -3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• A full time student
• A Team Member – athletic, extracurricular, community

- Describe any offices or leadership positions that you have held.
- Discuss the major(s) or area(s) that you hope to explore or study in college and why it is/they are important to you.
- Please write an essay choosing one of the following topics. Explain how: a.) hard work and dedication OR b.) Your involvement on a team (athletic, extracurricular or community) will lead to you accomplishing your educational and career goals and will enrich your life or other’s lives. Your essay should be typed, double spaced, and in a 12 point font.
