Vandalia Butler Foundation - Kathy Huston Clemens Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Kathy Huston Clemens Memorial Scholarship was established by the family and friends to award college scholarships to Butler High School graduates pursuing a degree in education. Kathy Clemens, a Vandalia-Butler graduate, was a beloved third-grade teacher and the 1998 Teacher of the Year in Houston, Texas. A scholarship will be offered annually to a Butler High School senior planning to pursue a four-year degree in education at an accredited college or university on a full-time basis. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 2.8 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
