Oakwood Schools Foundation - Barbara Nichols O'Hara Scholarship

During her years at Oakwood High School, there wasn’t a sport that Barbara Nichols O’Hara (OHS ‘59) didn’t enjoy. While tennis, field hockey and basketball were among her athletic successes, she was also a high achiever academically and actively involved in numerous school clubs and activities. At Northwestern University, she played tennis, basketball and field hockey, and received the Women’s Athletic Association’s Outstanding Senior Award for her athletics, spirit, service and scholarship. Barbara was a founding member of the Greater Dayton Rowing Association. She is an avid tennis buff and golfer, and remains a lifelong supporter of Oakwood Schools."
